We print all files at 720 DPI on our high resolution printer. Best results are obtained from vector files or raster images that are high-resolution (300 dpi or greater) and sized to the area they will occupy in the final printed sign.
Typically images taken from web sites are not of a high-resolution and will not reproduce well. Most images cannot be printed larger than their original size. Our online designer will let you know the print quality of any raster files you upload and warn you of poor print quality before saving your design. You have the option of re-sizing your graphic for better print quality, or providing a better quality file. If you are having trouble let us know, we can help you find a solution.
Minimum Resolution
Raster files such as JPG, PNG, GIF, TIF, PSD, JPEG set-up all files at 150 dpi at 100% of final file size or 300 dpi at 50% file size on all.
Vector based files, resolution is irrelevant and files can be reduced or enlarged to almost any size without loosing quality.
